Northern Colorado Business Leaders' Mission to the Capitol

A unique opportunity for Northern Colorado’s business leaders to engage Colorado’s political leadership in discussions about critical issues facing our region. Participants will take a chartered bus from Loveland to Denver at 6:30 a.m., meet with legislative leadership, spend time on the House and Senate floor, observe the legislature in action, participate in meetings with Governor Bill Ritter (invited), state legislators, key cabinet members, and other policy makers, attend lunch with Northern Colorado legislators, and return to Loveland around 2:45 p.m. Register by February 17 to get early registration pricing of $75 for chamber and NCEDC members and $85 for non-members. The fee covers breakfast, lunch and travel. On February 18, the price increases to $85 for members and $95 for non-members.

At this session wrap-up breakfast, sponsored by Open Door HR Solutions, you will learn from lawmakers (joining the event in person and via video conference) and the NCLA how legislation that was and was not passed will affect the Northern Colorado business community, what issues will be referred to voters in November and what legislation is already in the works for next session.
